The veteran rap-rock unit's fifth studio long-player and the follow-up to 2015's Day of the Dead, the aptly named Five delivers an eclectic sonic slap that draws from a wide array of influences. Like its predecessor, the 14-track set can go from gritty to velvety at the drop of a needle, with hood-centric (as in Los Angeles) party anthems like "Riot" and "California Dreaming" (definitely not a Mamas & the Papas cover) simmering alongside languid reggae-folk jams ("Ghost Beach") and brooding, "Lose Yourself"-era Eminem-inspired beatdowns. That penchant for experimentation, as well as a flair for pop craftsmanship, is what sets Hollywood Undead apart from some of their contemporaries – for every seedy barrel roll into nu-metal malevolence – "Renegade" is a bona fide street peeler – there's a slick blast of buttery radio fodder like "Nobody's Watching"…

2017 release, the fifth studio album by the rap rock band from Los Angeles, California. It is the band's first album without longtime member Da Kurlzz. The band formed in 2005. In an interview with Shave magazine, J-Dog explained that when forming the band "Whoever was in the room at the time and played an instrument was in the band." The band spent one year working on their debut album, Swan Songs. The next two years were spent looking for a company that wouldn't try to censor the album.

"Undead" is the fifth studio album, released in 2000 on the Century Media label. This disc is un-freaking-believable. Tad Morose have been trying to go in the direction of greater accessibility and heavier, more powerful riffs. Two shots in that direction didn't work as well as they'd have liked with Paradigma and A Mended Rhyme. This disc hits the nail absolutely square and hits it in such a way that you'll never have want for another nail in your life. This disc is amazing.

A hard-hitting metalcore unit based out of New Orleans, Louisiana, Cane Hill's punishing blend of post-hardcore and nu-metal draws from a deep well of divergent influences, from Pantera and Slipknot to hip-hop and indie rock. Founded in 2013 by vocalist Elijah Witt, guitarist James Barnett, bassist Ryan Henriquez, and drummer Devin Clark, the band cut its teeth on the road, sharing stages with contemporaries like the Hollywood Undead, the Acacia Strain, blessthefall, and For the Fallen Dreams.

An appearance in Hollywood for a first-rate jazz vocalist was not necessarily an opportunity to broadcast your visage and pander to everyone from Tacoma to Tallahassee. It could also include a date at the Crescendo, the Sunset Strip's best chance to find premier jazz. Gene Norman's nightclub hosted dozens of jazz legends (and a comic or two), and produced more than its share of excellent LPs recorded on location. Better even than Mel Tormé's 1954 classic, the Ella Fitzgerald LP that resulted from her May 1961 appearances generated one of the best (and certainly most underrated) live records in her discography Рand almost 50 years later, it became a four-CD set compiling ten days' worth of performances.

In the summer of 2016, Jeff Beck celebrated 50 years of his musical career with a special concert at the famous Hollywood Bowl. The setlist reached back to his first recordings with The Yardbirds in 1966 and came right up to date with tracks from his most recent album Loud Hailer…

Club Mixes 2000 is a remix album from '80s one-album wonder Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Wisely, only two songs out of the 16 here are not from Welcome to the Pleasuredome. Otherwise, this takes the biggest hits from that album and tries to twist them into techno anthems. And, for the most part, the songs translate fairly easily into that genre. Because of the songs' over the top nature and charismatic arrangements, it's possible to pick and choose some outrageous material from the originals and plaster it onto these techno tracks. Those unfamiliar with the material may find this to be rather boring, as many of the songs are featured several times under different remixers. But unlike the Disco albums that the Pet Shop Boys released to a harsh public, these songs are more well-rounded and tend to play out more naturally than those collections. Overall, this is a decent album that does get repetitive, but contains enough good remixes to make it recommendable to fans of the band.
